Adventures of Jonah's Magnet - Georgia

Mendy Woods sent her love from Georgia with a photo of Jonah's magnet traveling on the rear door of her van.

Mendy is a follower of Jonah's mothers blog and says that she prays continually for Jonah, Matt and Patrice. Several people have asked Mendy about this magnet which has given her opportunity to explain about Jonah, his brother Gabe and EB.

Jonah Is Not Alone - EB Kids Support Jonah

Yes, EB is rare, but don't get the idea that Jonah is alone. There are many children and adults with EB in this world and we would love to share a few with you. (This posting will move to the top of the page every time we add a supporter.)

June 30, 2009 - Ella, 6 years old from Missouri and Mareyna, 5 years old from Illinois meet every every six months to travel together for a visit with their dermatologist Dr. Dyer. The three of them decided they would join in supporting Jonah and the search for a cure for EB.






June 30, 2009 - Two year old Mia from North Carolina checking out Jonah on her laptop? Mia adds her support for Jonah and all of the children with EB.





June 18, 2009 - Four year old Savana from Pennsylvania joins the kids supporting Jonah and would like for you to be more aware of EB and to help support funding for a cure.




June 11, 2009 - Six year old Alivia shows her support for Jonah and encourages you to become more aware of EB from her deck in Massachusetts.







June 10, 2009 - Five year old Ethan from Michigan and his dog Frankie add their photo with Jonah's magnet.


June 3, 2009 - Five year old Erik from Maryland adds his photo with Jonah's magnet.

If you or your child have EB and you would like to show support for Jonah by having a photo made holding his magnet please send the EB patients name, type of EB and address to jonahs.support.group@gmail.com We will mail you one of Jonah’s magnets at no cost to you. All that we request is that you e-mail a photo with the magnet back to us. We will be showing these photos in a slide show at the bottom of this blog. We would love for you to participate along side of Ella, Mareyna, Dr. Dyer, Mia, Savana, Alivia, Ethan, Erik, Evan, Leah, AJ and Weston.

Adventures of Jonah's Magnets - Myrtle Beach

On this adventure Jonah's magnets let him come along. How great is that?




If you have been following Patrice's blog you know that 33 members of Jonah's family, on Matt's side including Jonah, spent all, or portions, of the week following the fourth of July at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina.

Here are 8 of the thirteen kids present holding up Jonah's magnets.


From left to right - Nathaniel, Nicholas, Grant, Charlie, Will, Mikey, Aliana and Abby. Missing from photo are Anna Kate, Jack, Jake, Coleman and the youngest Jonah. Relations to Jonah are confusing. Three are cousins, three are children of one of Matt's Uncles, six are grandchildren of another of Matt's Uncles. Six of the thirteen are my grandchildren. I wasn't present. Jonah's magnet makes a visit to the southern most point of the United States, the Florida Keys with Cara and her children.
